The GATE Adventist Theological College, under the leadership of El Bethel Church, collaborated with the GATE Adventist Medical Centre to serve the community in celebration of Adventist Global Youth Day 2026. In the spirit of “Communion in Action,” students and staff actively participated in meaningful outreach ministries to meet the needs of others.

Blood Donation Drive
A blood donation drive was held on Thursday, March 19, 2026, at the GATE Adventist Medical Centre. A total of 25 theology students and staff generously donated blood, which was collected by the St. John Ambulance Association, Cooch Behar District Centre. Through this initiative, it is believed that the youth are playing a vital role in saving lives and sharing Christ’s love through service.

Free Medical Checkup Camp
A free medical and dental camp for children and the elderly was held on Friday, March 20, 2026, at the Government Primary School in Baganbari, Falakata. A total of 95 community members benefited from the camp under the service of Dr. John Rajkumar, Dr. Daisy Rajkumar, Dr. Ajit M, and Dr. Hannah Saidangpuii Ralte. Master Guide in Training students also actively participated as part of their outreach ministry requirements.
Many villagers experiencing various health concerns came to receive medical attention. Services were provided in general medicine, eye care, and dental care by qualified physicians, including an ophthalmologist and a dentist. The program began with a word of prayer and concluded with singing the doxology, “Praise God, from whom all blessings flow.”
Outreach at Orphanage Home
On Sabbath, March 21, 2026, a special outreach program was conducted at Jalpaiguri Raikatpara Child Welfare Home in Falakata. Church members came together in unity to share the love of Jesus through songs, fellowship, and encouragement. A token of love was also presented to the children as an expression of care and compassion. The visit created a joyful and meaningful atmosphere, reflecting Christ’s ministry of love and service.
Conclusion
The GATE Ministry was richly blessed through the observance of Global Youth Day 2026. As part of the global mission of the Seventh-day Adventist Church, this special day emphasizes active service, compassion, and living out the gospel in practical ways.
Through these outreach activities, the youth and members experienced what it truly means to be the hands and feet of Jesus. In harmony with the Adventist mission of proclaiming the everlasting gospel and preparing people for the soon coming of Christ, this Global Youth Day became a powerful reminder that ministry is not confined within church walls but extends into the community.
Truly, it was a day of “Communion in Action,” where faith was expressed through service and lives were impacted for God’s kingdom.
