NBS GATE MELA 2026

The NBS GATE Mela 2026 was successfully organised at the GATE Campus from 20–23 February 2026. The event was a collaborative initiative of the GATE Ministry, GATE Adventist Theological College, and the Northern Bengal Section.
The Mela brought together 14 churches where the second-year students of GATE College are actively serving in ministry. It was a vibrant celebration of faith, fellowship, unity, and joyful participation.

Participating Churches
The following churches participated in the event:
Beltoli Church, Kadambini Church, Kodalbasti Church, Dalgau Church, Mantaram Church, Mandalpar Church, Dalmuni Church, Siddhabari Church, Bengali Church, Chang Maritari Church, Satpukurya Church, Hindi Church, Guabar Church, and Dimma Church.

Day 1 – Sabbath Worship & Singing Competition
The event began on Sabbath with a united worship service, followed by an inspiring singing competition. The program reflected the rich spiritual heritage and musical talents of the participating churches.
The esteemed judges for the competition were:
- Pastor Romesh Fundal, Vice President of the Northern Indian Union
- Pastor PK Tamsang, President of the North Bengal Section
- Dr. Daryl Joshua, President of GATE Adventist Theological College

Day 2 & 3 – Sports, Fellowship & Evening Worship
The second and third days featured exciting sports competitions, including football, volleyball, and badminton. The campus was filled with energy and enthusiasm as teams competed in a spirit of sportsmanship and unity.
Throughout the event, various stalls were set up, creating a festive atmosphere for participants and visitors. Each evening concluded with a powerful worship service, highlighted by messages from Pastor Sunil Margie, Youth Director of North Bengal Section.

Spiritual Emphasis
The Mela strongly emphasized spiritual growth and reflection. Each morning began with meditation in nature, fostering a deeper connection with God. The gathering provided a meaningful opportunity for churches within the North Bengal Section to strengthen bonds, share experiences, and celebrate their shared mission.
The NBS GATE Mela 2026 was truly a memorable occasion—an inspiring blend of worship, ministry, fellowship, and joyful celebration that strengthened the partnership between the college and the churches it serves.
