SANCTUARY SEMINAR

Our college community was greatly honored to host the Sanctuary Seminar 2026, featuring Nam Dae-geuk, PhD, Former President of Sahmyook University.

The seminar was conducted at El Bethel Church from 16–20 February 2026, with evening sessions held daily from 6:30 PM to 7:30 PM.

Dr. Nam

Over the course of five spiritually enriching evenings, Dr. Nam presented a profound and systematic study of the biblical sanctuary doctrine—its Old Testament foundations, its fulfillment in Christ’s high-priestly ministry, and its enduring significance within the mission and identity of the Seventh-day Adventist Church. His lectures combined theological depth, historical perspective, and pastoral application, providing clarity on one of the most distinctive pillars of Adventist faith.

A memorable emphasis throughout the seminar was the powerful statement:
“The Sanctuary is the heart of the Seventh-day Adventist Church, and the Sabbath is its lungs.”
This expression beautifully highlighted the inseparable relationship between Christ’s mediatorial ministry and the call to covenant faithfulness.

Students, faculty members, church leaders, and missionary trainees attended faithfully each evening, engaging thoughtfully with the presentations and experiencing both intellectual enrichment and spiritual renewal. The seminar strengthened our doctrinal foundation and renewed our appreciation for Christ’s ongoing ministry in the heavenly sanctuary.

We extend our heartfelt appreciation to Dr. Nam for sharing his scholarship, experience, and spiritual insight with our academic community. His contribution has left a lasting impact, inspiring us to uphold the sanctuary message with clarity, conviction, and dedication to mission.
